About Bob Walsh
- MS, Biology, UNM
- MS, Mathematics, San Diego St.
- BS, Physics, Caltech
Bob Walsh is a scientist, not a politician. Politicians want to control your pleasures and spend your money. Bob is libertarian and therefore not a politician.
Bob is available to represent New Mexico in the U.S. Senate, where he would support the Libertarian platform. That is, he would defend each person’s right to engage in any activity that is peaceful and honest, and to free individuals to follow their own dreams in their own ways.
Bob has been in New Mexico for over 50 years. He and his son, Greg Walsh, founded Rocky Mountain EMS for critical care transports among New Mexico hospitals. He was a plaintiff in Lopataqui, et al., which lead to paper ballots for New Mexico, permitting audits and recounts.
He consulted world-wide in safety, especially reliability and nuclear safety, specializing in uncertainty analysis. He managed a safety analysis that led to cancellation of a proposed scheme for storing plutonium at the Pantex facility.
He taught technical classes at UNM and Sandia Labs and conducted three-day training at General Motors, Boeing, and sites in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Israel.
His life partner is Betsy Frederick; between them they have 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
